Good day, Peaceful Pack!
Thank you for your continued support, and we would like to take this opportunity to keep you up to date on what has been happening so far this year! As we continue to adapt to the needs of our community and aspire to provide the most legendary service for you and your dogs, we will continue to roll out and modify new and improved customer experiences in the upcoming months.
Tulsa's Premier Doggy Daycare & Boarding Announcement
As we launched into 2022, one of our primary goals was to build a new barn facility for trainers and boarding dogs, and we've just about completed that task! Although we are in the final phase of touching up the aesthetics, the barn is operational and utilized daily for business! Completing the barn is a massive step for us, and we wouldn't be where we are without your support!
Pricing Effective October 1st
One of our core values at A Peaceful Pack is to provide quality and unparalleled service to every one of our clients. When you trust in us to serve your family and dog, not only do we want to give you the experience you envisioned, but we pride ourselves on going above and beyond.
After carefully reviewing our operating costs with the current market for 2022, we've decided to increase our prices on Daycare & Boarding services by ~10%. This change will go into effect on October 1st. Our new rates will reflect the following services:
Daycare: Increase to $38 a day per trained dog visit
Boarding: Increase to $55 a night per trained dog and $100 if two dogs from the same household are in the same booking.
Untrained Doggy daycare: $55 per untrained dog
Untrained Doggy boarding: $77 per untrained dog
As our customer base has grown tremendously over the last year, we aim to keep the price change as minimal as possible while meeting the current demands in increased usage across the board. We value you as a patron and are grateful for your business with us.
For anyone with questions or concerns regarding the new price, don't hesitate to contact us; we are just a phone call away! We're happy to chat more about this with you.
Few Things Are More Rewarding Than Doing Life With Your Dog
As economic shifts have caused many lifestyle changes throughout the last two years, dogs have become a more significant part of every household. Statistics show that 39% of new pet owners brought a dog into their home in 2021, and 23% of new pet owners acquired their pups in 2022!
This shift in the pet ownership landscape has also come with some complex behavioral challenges. Many new and untrained dogs have become much more dependent on human presence, attached to household members for extended periods, experienced increased separation anxiety, and our biggest and most common theme: Improper socialization.
We've seen an increase in aggression and resource guarding due to a lack of interaction and exposure to real-world interactions and situations, ultimately affecting many of our dogs' overall lack of confidence.
New dogs and old, one of the most common phrases we've heard over the last year from breeders and owners is, "These dogs just aren't like the dogs before."
Anxiety, confidence, aggression, and exposure are all aspects of each dog that runs deeper than basic obedience. Our approach to training is to give each dog their best life and to build them up to have the strongest possible relationship with everyone in the household.
These challenges motivate us to improve our skillset further to solve the increasing problematic behaviors at the core and provide the most exceptional boarding and training experience!
