WHY PUPPY TRAINING MATTERS MORE THAN MOST OWNERS REALIZE
Puppies learn at an accelerated rate during their first year of life. Their brain is actively wiring itself based on every experience they have. That is an enormous opportunity. A puppy who learns clear structure, calm behavior, and how to respond to their owner in those early months becomes a dog who is genuinely enjoyable to live with for the next decade.
The alternative is not neutral. Every day a puppy practices an unwanted behavior, that behavior becomes more ingrained. The jumping that seems cute at eight weeks is the same behavior causing problems at two years. Starting early is not about pressure. It is about using the window you have.

WHAT YOUR PUPPY WILL LEARN
Real obedience in real situations. Not just commands that work in the driveway.
Reliable Recall
Coming when called, every time, even with distractions present. The most important command your dog will ever know.
Loose Leash Walking
Walking calmly beside you without pulling, lunging, or zigzagging. Real-world practice, not just in the driveway.
Sit, Down & Stay
Holding commands with duration while you move around, open the door, or have guests arrive.
Crate & Settling
Learning to be alone without distress. The foundation for a dog who is relaxed at home and adaptable anywhere.
Threshold Control
Not bolting at doors and gates. Not breaking before given permission. Safety that becomes habit.
Socialization
Calm, appropriate greetings with people and other dogs. A puppy who is neither fearful nor overexcited when meeting the world.
HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS
A board and train at our 180-acre Skiatook facility, built around your puppy's specific needs.
1
Consultation
We talk through your puppy's age, behavior, and what you want daily life to look like. You get a clear recommendation on program fit and length, and honest feedback before anything is scheduled.
2
Board and Train on 180 Acres
Your puppy lives at our Skiatook facility, receiving structured daily training on our property. Not just drills, real environments with real distractions.
3
Real-World Exposure
Different surfaces, sounds, people, and situations. A puppy socialized at our facility comes home confident and adaptable, not just trained in one context.
4
Owner Coaching at Completion
Before your puppy comes home, we work directly with you. You learn the commands, how to reinforce them, and how to handle situations that come up. The training holds because you understand how to communicate it.
Programs typically run 2 to 3 weeks. For Tulsa-area families, we offer designated drop-off locations so you do not have to drive to Skiatook.

BUILDING GOOD HABITS FROM THE START
Most puppies come to us with a mix of the same problems. Biting and mouthing that has gotten too rough. Jumping on every person they meet. Pulling from day one. Ignoring their name. Struggling to settle in the crate.

These are normal puppy behaviors that become problem dog behaviors without early structure. Our program addresses all of them as part of the foundation work. A puppy who learns impulse control, how to settle, and how to respond to their owner has the tools to handle every situation that comes up.
✓ Biting and mouthing addressed early and correctly
✓ Jumping replaced with a default sit greeting
✓ Leash manners built from the first walk
✓ Name recognition and recall that holds under distraction
✓ Crate comfort that makes alone time calm, not stressful
✓ Early signs of fear or reactivity caught and addressed

THE BEST TIME TO TRAIN YOUR DOG
IS RIGHT NOW.
Every week that passes is a week of habits forming. Start early, start right, and the next ten years with your dog become something you actually look forward to.
WHAT CHANGES FOR YOU AT HOME
A well-trained puppy changes everything about daily life with a dog.
Walks without the chaos. Your puppy walks beside you. No more being dragged, no more untangling the leash every thirty seconds.
Guests can come over. No more jumping, no more rushing the door, no more apologizing. Your puppy goes to place and stays there.
Your puppy comes when called. Every time. Not just when they feel like it. That reliability changes everything about living with a dog.
Crate time is calm. Your puppy settles without barking, whining, or distress. Rest for them, quiet for you.
You feel confident as an owner. You know how to communicate with your dog. That confidence shows up in every interaction and your puppy responds to it.
A great dog for the next decade. The habits your puppy builds now are the habits your adult dog keeps. Starting right makes everything easier.
WHAT TULSA FAMILIES ARE SAYING
Over 180 five-star Google reviews from families across Tulsa and northeast Oklahoma.
"Absolutely the best. A Peaceful Pack’s program and trainers are so well organized and effective. I felt comfortable from the very beginning entrusting my precious pup to their care. Communication is superb. Our trainer, Andrea, is so kind and patient with both dogs and owners. She spent time training me each week on how to reinforce my pups training. My puppy made a lot of progress and now looks forward to brief training sessions with me."

"We can’t recommend A Peaceful Pack enough! We have a Vizsla puppy who needed help with play biting, chewing, jumping, walking on a leash, and more. All of these behaviors were addressed, but even more impressive is that she’s just overall more content and calm. We are SO grateful for our trainer Andrea who not only worked magic with our puppy but was also an amazing teacher to us."

BRIA
"We couldn’t love the entire Peaceful Pack crew more!! We used them for a 2 week training program for our puppy and have continued using them for daycare, as well as, boarding!! Our pup loves it there so much and is always excited when they pull up to get her! Speaking of that.. the pick up & drop off concierge is UNMATCHED! So incredible. Can’t say enough great things, honestly. Thank you so much to everyone there for taking such great care of our girl!"
